This Alvar Aalto Side Table is a stunning piece of early 20th century modernist design, crafted from Karelian Birch, known for its unique and beautiful grain pattern. Aalto, a Finnish design legend, created this side table with functional elegance in mind, blending minimalism with timeless craftsmanship.
The table features a sleek, round top with gently curved, natural birch legs that showcase the iconic Aalto style. The lower lower shelf is suspended internally giving a floating feeling.
This is a 1930s piece and has it original Finmar label, dating the piece between 1933-38. Its compact size makes it versatile for various spaces. The piece is in very good vintage condition. As with all vintage piece there are minor signs of use and wear but nothing that stands out.
