This Alvar Aalto Armchair Model 34 is a timeless piece of Finnish design, created in 1933 and showcasing the elegance and innovation that made Aalto a key figure in the modernist movement. The armchair is crafted with bent laminated birch, and is upholstered in Pierre Frey Judith Bocule. This piece is a 1930s chair and retains its original Finmar label dating the chair to between 1933-38.

The piece is in very good vintage condition. The frame has age related patina, and does have small marks, dent and general signs of age but nothing that detracts. The chair has not been used since being upholstered.
