A set of five Sonet wall lights designed by Hans Per Jeppesen for Fog & Mørup, Denmark, circa 1965. Fog & Mørup illustrated this brass version in its 1968 lighting catalogue under reference 2-1043. Each light has a cylindrical brass shade held in a black metal bracket. A ring of small circular perforations surrounds the narrower brass tube, which houses the individual push-button switch.

Each light rotates at the wall bracket and tilts on two brass side fittings. They make excellent bedside reading lights, with the shade angled down towards a book or turned upwards for softer, reflected light. As a set of five, they also work particularly well spaced along a hallway, where each can be directed independently.

We have lightly cleaned the unlacquered brass. The tone already varies subtly from one light to the next. Over time, the brass will continue to darken and develop a richer patina, which we feel adds to the beauty of the set.

All five lights have been rewired. They can be wired directly into the wall or installed with a visible cable running down to floor level. The photographs show the switches facing outwards. Before sale, we will reposition the lamp bodies in their brackets so that the switches face the wall, giving a cleaner view of the brass from the front.

The lights are presented in excellent vintage condition. The price is for the set of five, although we would consider selling them in smaller numbers. Please enquire if you are looking for a particular quantity.
