A fantastic early example and original set of Pierre Jeanneret Rope Back Demountable Chairs and Sofa. These pieces where designed in 1953 and originally made for Jeanneret personal residence in Chandigarh. All three pieces show exceptional patina throughout. The pieces have been fully restored structurally. The cotton webbing was replaced using the same style as the original. The rope backs have been replaced.
We do look at lot at images, we feel these are the best examples of this model we have seen anywhere.
