We have for sale a very elegant rosewood writing table by Svend Aage Madsen for Sigurd Hansen c1958. This is a really nice, really well made piece. The piece was originally designed as a writing table, it is perfectly sized for a small desk.

It has lots of small details that make this piece stand out over any similar piece. There is a subtle 5cm incline and there is a pen holder within the right drawer. Both drawers are lockable and a key is included. The piece is finished on the back with the same quality rosewood making it a subitale piece to be displayed from any side. The lip on the back of the working area is to stop your papers falling off. This is very sweet piece.

The table retains original markings and is labelled accordingly.

The desk is in excellent vintage condition. The desk top shows minimal areas or wear or marking. There are and will always be minor marks, dents, dings etc but nothing that stands out or detracts in anyways. Further detailed images and video are available on request. This piece was professionally cleaned and waxed. It is presented in the best condition it can be in.
