We have for sale a rare dining suite by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. These are first edition pieces from the early 1950s. The table and chairs are original to each other and finished in brazilian rosewood.

The chairs and table are all in excellent vintage condition. This model chair if not looked after always suffer from the same issues. Splitting plywood and weak backs. All four chairs have good strong backs and show no signs of splitting or any signs of restoration. It is a rare set and even rarer to see in such wonderful condition. The table top again is in excellent condition.

All the pieces have been cleaned and waxed and is presented in its best form. As with all vintage pieces the pieces have signs of wear and use but nothing that detracts or that is overly obvious. There is no evidence of repairs to any of the seats or table top. All metalwork is without structural damage or repair. All the nickel plate on the chairs and table legs have varying levels of signs of age, use and wear. This would be expected from a piece of this age and made of this material.
