WHO WE ARE
Founded by Yunus Khan in 2003, we are a small team based in West London. We specialise in 20th-century design which makes up the majority of our collection; this sits alongside a wide range of contemporary art, ceramics, and other pieces that create a great synergy when paired with our core collection.
We carefully select all our pieces, looking for exceptional design and quality craftsmanship. Most importantly pieces that speak to us and have a soul.
We specifically look for historical designs, small production or one-offs, and we love architect-designed pieces.
We have specialised in furniture by Pierre Jeanneret & Le Corbusier from Chandigarh, India for fifteen years. We hand-selected all our pieces in India first-hand. All of our pieces were imported to the UK unrestored and were then professionally restored in London. We were fortunate to be early collectors of these pieces and have seen hundreds of examples of most models, selecting only the best.
The process of finding a piece, restoration, and bringing it to market can take months. We use museum-grade restorers, conservators, upholsterers, and framers. If we are offering a piece which has been fully restored by us, we want it to be as good as it can be. We do not compromise on quality.
We photograph all our pieces in house at our gallery. We are not the best photographers , we do not over edit images to make anything look better than it is. We will happily provide you with further detailed images and videos of any piece. Please do ask.
WHERE WE ARE
We are based in Uxbridge, West London. We have a small but functional gallery; including a photography studio, workshop, and warehouse. You are very welcome to visit by appointment. Almost everything you see on our website is available to view.
SOURCING
If you like our curation and feel our taste suits yours, drop us an email with your requirements. We have a global partner network who we can tap into to carefully select pieces that match your specific needs. We can advise on acquisitions, provenance and authenticity; and can negotiate on your behalf for any pieces we have successfully sourced.
SELL TO US
If you have a single piece or a collection that you think suits our taste, we are always looking to purchase new pieces. We can also sell pieces on your behalf for a negotiated fee.
APPROVALS
We are more than happy for you to view pieces at your home before deciding to buy. If you are based in London, this is a no-obligation and no-cost service.
BUYING FROM US
We can accept payments via all major credit cards and bank transfers. All goods remain the property of Gallery Kiy until payment is received in full.
SHIPPING
We can arrange swift and secure local, national, and international shipping. We work with several specialists from crating, shipping, and customs paperwork, to unpacking and installation.
RETURNS
Client satisfaction is very important to us. We will offer a full refund less transport costs if an item upon delivery is not suitable for your needs; however, we do need to be informed within 14 days of delivery. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Any returned piece must be received in the same condition it was received in. If an item is not as described or shown in images, then we will offer a full refund and cover all transport costs.
